AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Please explain Sri yantra. Few say that it is the geometrical depiction of all aspects within the universe created out of the union of Shiva & Shakti (Bindu) and thus is the true representation of the Adi Parashakti – Dynamic Aspect of the DivineπŸ€”.

Sri Yantra is a symbol depicting the perfect harmony and unity of the three higher three lower worlds leading to a blossoming of creation towards fullness and eventually perfection. The fullness (circles) is indicated but the perfection (square open on all four sides to infinity) is hinted. It is indeed a most powerful tantric representation of the World Mother who joins the creation with the Creator. However we must not forget that no symbol or pattern can bind the Supreme Goddess who manifests only by Her own will, if She so Wills, and is not subject to any vidhi or upasana. These are at best aids, sometimes a powerful aid, but unsupported by corresponding inner movements they remain like an invalid ticket whose secret unlocking code is not in the geomatric design but in the soul of the sadhak. The Bindu is the individual soul which is the meeting point for the union of Purusha and Prakriti.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da
