AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

What can be the way to tackle the confusion about choosing a career, if one got no preferences, no interests, one only wants to get lots of money to become independent and then do something great for the nation for its resurgence😩?

Take the profession that is closest to your heart, to your true nature, swabhava and swadharma. Do it with sincerity in the spirit of serving Mother India. Be an example to others of what it means to be an Indian in the true sense of the word. This will be a much truer service than working to earn money and then use it for making the country great. Most people who try that generally get into the grip of money once they earn well and the idea of serving the country recedes in the background. So do what you can do best and turn it into service for the motherland.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

All the inner things that I am giving you all the time, all the strength, light, energy and life that are being poured into you all the time, are meant for the service of the Divine, for the sake of transforming you. If you use them for any other purpose, you are a robber and your crime is the worst possible.” ~ The Mother (CWM 13:183)
