AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Alok da, Human beings have this desire and ideal of unconditional love. But as they grow up, everyone comes to see that despite all the preachings about human values, emotions and whatnot, every relationship is conditional and comes with an exchange value and with the frustration of not finding it. 👨🏼💔👩🏼🥀🌼[…]

They start endlessly sermonising on how money is everything and how everything is dependent upon it. Is this the case because we’ve left the Infinite Divine Peace and become individual beings in the conditions of Time and Space? Everything here is conditional, and after all the frustration about not finding any true unconditional love among human beings, we eventually have to realise that the only unconditioned relationship is with the Divine. Are human relationships all about providing each other mutual exchange value that they can provide each other?

Human beings are very limited in their present state of evolution. They neither have the true knowledge nor the true power. Above all, they don’t understand Love, which they constantly mistake for give and take. To expect anything from human beings is, in fact itself a stupid thing to do. It is like asking for a dole from a beggar.

Yet human beings are endowed with a possibility. It is the possibility of uniting with the Divine, the Source and the Origin. If they can do that, they will be free from all suffering. Of course, outer situations may or may not change. But inwardly, the person who sincerely turns towards the Divine and is ready to persevere with faith through whatever difficulties his outer circumstances and his own nature may present, gets freed from their grip and discovers abiding peace and joy. Once this happens, then the human being becomes a giver, receiving everything from the Divine while expecting or wanting nothing from anyone else.

One thing more. It is best not to observe what others say or do. If one wants to be happy and peaceful, then it is best not to look into what others are doing but instead mind one’s own business. Do what you think is the best, the right thing to do, leaving the rest in the safe hands of the Divine Mother. The work alone is given to us. The results belong entirely to the Divine.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I had a dream where I was at my mother’s house and saw two snakes. They were not black; one had brown patterns or markings on its body. I felt quite scared when I saw them. One of the snakes was thick and moving slowly, but it wasn’t attacking or harming anyone. 🐍🌙[…]

The snakes at your mother’s house seem to be the remnants of some past heredity tendencies that are there in the subconscient nature. They are not harmful but atavistic, remnants of the past…

Since it was the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I happened to see many unknown live-recorded clips of the attacks and I cannot help but think there is something so eerie and demonic about the colossal scale at which violence is unleashed in modern times.🌍🕊️[…]

Why should you worry or fear? If you believe that you are The Mother’s child, then where is the room for any anxiety or worry? Our intelligence may be and is  limited but if we open ourselves and offer to the Divine then He supplements our limited intelligence and force with His and then there is nothing to fear or be worried at all. …
