How can one define GodπŸ˜‡?

Well we cannot limit God to any definitions, formula or any dogma. The mind tries to limit things by defining them. But God is the Origin of everything and dwells in everything as their essence. He is the Origin of Mind as well hence the mind cannot define or understand God.

However by realising God one can understand everything in its essence including the mind itself! Though God can be experienced either directly by identifying with Him or felt indirectly through His manifestations (Qualities, Avatars, Yogis, Vibhutis etc) yet no experience of God can be complete.

He is at once with infinite qualities as well as without qualities, formless yet assumes forms, nameless yet has countless names. He is All Good yet evil too is His mask, He is Light and Beauty and Peace and Truth and Force and Bliss yet He is hidden even in Your experience is your experience. You have used a method a way it came to you but you cannot convert it into a convenient formula for everybody, that is how religions are formed. Thus God remains the Unknowable Indefinable ultimate Reality and yet it is possible and even given to man to know something of His Mystery by a progressive identification with His Reality through esoteric Yoga.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Alok da, it’s been like two-three years since I got an introduction to Savitri, and discourses upon it by M P Pandit, yours and others. I intuitively knew – this is a text that I should be carrying like an inner recitation throughout my life from now on, but still I came to postponing and delaying totally getting into it all this time. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸ“–[…]
