AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I had a dream few days back, I was at this beautiful place it was so fresh, trees were red yellow glimmering and snow was there and there was so much peace and then suddenly a place got filled with rowdy crowd and they started waving red triangular type flags and called then selves mujahideen, I was not at all afraid as i looked at everything as a witness as if I knew the ending of the story, then later I had a lover who was caught as one of them and he was shot dead, even then I was not shocked and was at peace. People asked me how I was and told them that he is gone but it’s new start for him and that end of a tragic life, can you explain me this dream😬?

The calm, peaceful place is the inner being closer to the soul. The red flags and IM are symbols of adverse forces trying to invade these areas. The lover is the attachments of the past that are gone and waiting to be reborn in the new consciousness or to get a new birth in this life. But the past association with them is gone since behind the mask of goodness they carry within the same old consciousness.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I had a question on a particular phrase in Savitri. “The universe is an endless masquerade: For nothing here is utterly what it seems; It is a dream-fact vision of a truth Which but for the dream would not be wholly true, A phenomenon stands out significant Against dim backgrounds of eternity; “What exactly is a “dream-fact vision of a truth”? Either we have dreams, or we have facts, two different order of realities🤔.

To think of the language of Savitri, it feels like Sri Aurobindo has stretched the bounds of the finite to the utmost, by capturing the
