AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

What is self if everything is Divine? Why is there rigidity in the self and can we overcome it? πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸͺ·β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯

There is the one Divine Self that takes many forms, aspects, becomes a multitude of persons and personalities just as each body has countless cells, tissues, organs. So too each one of us is part of the One Self. Knowing this helps us get connected to the larger truth of our individual existence. It heals division and brings the spirit of harmony, true order and unity. At the same time we must know our own individual place in this totality, the purpose for which we are made. We must be faithful to that, true to this purpose of our individual existence. However we must always know that we are not separate or alone but part of an interconnected cosmic Whole.

Rigidity comes when the individual takes a hardened stance and believes everything and everybody must work in the same way. Or if others should serve our interest primarily. It would be a disaster if one group of cells became the centre to eat up all the resources meant for the total body or if the heart cells and the brain cells worked the same way.

So too each of us must do the work given to us faithfully but let each one do it the way they think is the best. To correct or change others is not our responsibility but the Divine’s. Similarly each has their own function, place and way of doing things. We should not interfere with that unless we have been given the responsibility to oversee it.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

We all have a role to fulfil, a work to accomplish, a place which we alone can occupy….

It is said that if your will is not at work, then its Divine’s will is at work. So how can we know what the Divine’s will is? What changes should we make within to align with the Divine’s will? How to deal with chaotic situations and people? What is the difference between the Divine’s will and others’ will? πŸ™„πŸ™πŸ»πŸͺ·πŸŒ„

This is not true (that if our will is not working then it is the Divine Will). Its logical conclusion will be that if you succeeded then it is a personal will and if we fail it is the Divine Will! No, not at all. The Divine Will cannot be judged by the apparent outer results. For example the Divine may want you to go through temporary failures or ….

Iran-US tensions are causing a lot of oil shortages around the world, including in India. All peace talks are failing, and the possibility of a breakthrough seems to be thin, as both sides are unyielding, causing a deadlock. In the short term it may create certain difficulties but in the long run it will push mankind to find alternate energy, clean and healthy energy which, if we rightly pursue, can completely alter the economic balance and shift the …
