Though I pray to Maa and occasionally touch a space of calm, I struggle with whether my intense longing for the Divine is pure aspiration or merely a reaction to my fear of illness and death. Even as I recognize these falsehoods, their increasing intensity makes me feel like I am spiraling and missing an essential piece of the puzzle.
This seems to be a wave of depression that is trying to catch you, partly because of the loneliness, as you don’t seem to have a good friend to share your issues and troubles with. Partly, it is because of a lack of clarity about a goal. Aimlessness often opens the doors to fears.
Do some specific prayer and mantra every day and also spend some time doing vigorous physical workouts. It helps wash away a lot of things.
You can also take the help of guided imagery and give yourself positive suggestions such as Peace, peace, peace and, I am fine, All will be well, etc.
Rest when I see you.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
