AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Did Sri Aurobindo give his own commentaries or notes for at least some topics of Savitri, any others, did he feel, its not necessary? If not, did he feel, its not necessary, that  the reader should try to get it on their own like you? 📜📚✍️🔉

I understand, you got it on your own by His Grace, without taking outside help other than The Divine Mother.

Or did he feel  one can follow  his

” Savitri “if they are sincere.?

What do you say?

Because I am happy to get the understanding on my own by Her Grace without depending on outside source.

That makes my understanding better and clear.

Even when I don’t get some places, I feel I should wait and in course of time, the ideas will become more clear.

Am I right in my thoughts?

Sri Aurobindo did not have the time and he was not in the habit of explaining. He was mainly busy with his main work of Supramental transformation. Savitri was his last and most important gift to mankind but it was over only a couple of weeks before he withdrew. He was as if waiting for its completion.

There are no fixed rules with Sri Aurobindo and The Mother except aspiration and opening to Her Grace. But even these are supports to their action which itself is independent of the human activity. In any case understanding always comes because of the Grace working in the depths. Human mind, whether one’s own or someone else’s can at best be an ocassion but not the cause. So each is free to follow their way. Whatever way it works for a person is good for that person. But another way may work for someone else. Therefore they have provided for every way and opened different doors for different seekers.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
