AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

While I understand that Helen had to leave her daughter for a greater work (though on the surface it seems selfish), I want to know what kind of compensation such souls, who have suffered directly for the Divine, get. Do they get some special Grace and do they get to be near the Divine as Avatars?β›΅πŸ‘‘πŸ¦’πŸ”₯🏰

Yes, certainly. As the Mother put it, ‘there is a divine recompense for every struggle and suffering.’ Generally this recompense is in the form of an evolutionary leap. Savitri calls is as ‘digging a tunnel through emergency.’ Here are few lines from Savitri that reveal this subtle but profound truth.

‘He saw in Night the Eternal’s shadowy veil,

Knew death for a cellar of the house of life,
In destruction felt creation’s hasty pace,
Knew loss as the price of a celestial gain
And hell as a short cut to heaven’s gates.’

Of course in this particular instance we are not told as to what was her past and the future. We see only a little fragment and since the unfolding is hidden from us, our heart naturally reacts with pity and pain. But there is always a divine recompense and in fact, it is the soul that choses this passage, this difficult destiny that the surface mind abhors, to take a leap.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
