AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Is the infinite Love and Bonding from the Divine towards us His very nature, or is it His deliberate, merciful choice? 😊🙏🏻🌹💖

It is not only His very nature, it is the very stuff of His being. In fact, to Him we are portions of Himself and not other than He.

But human nature is generally unable to understand the joy and the play and intensities of the Divine Love. We prefer the bonding with the Divine only to fulfill our petty desires, which are almost invariably harmful in the end. If He does not fulfill our desires or satisfies our ego, we call Him cruel. Thus we move away from Him and when suffering strikes us, then we call Him. It is then that He comes as the All-merciful. This Mercy is a very modified form of Divine Love. It redeems and restores us. But the original movement and power of the Divine Love is to draw us nearer to Him and even make us join, unite and grow one with Him.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
