But if our body is the vessel for this transformation, why do we often neglect it? I find myself pushing beyond my limits, exhausting my body until it forces me to stop. If our journey is one of growth and awakening, shouldn’t caring for our body be just as important as nurturing our mind and spirit? How do I learn to honor this balance? How do I work on truly respecting my body as part of this larger process of becoming🤔?
The body needs to be taken care of but always the soul comes first. Pushing beyond limits does take a toll upon the bodily life especially when we do it under the impulsion of the vital. In any case a proper balance between work and rest are needed. But both need to undergo a change, – work into service of the Divine, rest into a state of inner peace and quietude.
