AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Why so much sexual problem even when I’m on this graceful path?? This will ruin everything! ❤️🩹🛑🤐

Everything was so beautiful in the beginning. My aspiration remembering offering everything was on right direction. Why things getting worse.

Because the ego came in and thought that the victory has been won. It is not so easy. With things like sex the more you pay attention and think about them, even about suppressing them, the more vehemently they rise. It is much better to build the positive side of the sadhana first, to call Peace, practice inner detachment, grow in love, devotion and service, keep yourself preoccupied with reading, study, exercise so that you are sufficiently tired and have little time to laze around. For the rest practice samyama (moderation) right now then nigraha (forced suppression). And most importantly do not engage in thoughts of guilt and loss or fear of ruin. That is worse than sex. Keep walking steadily on the path with faith in the omnipotence of the Divine Grace. Stay cheerful and all will come near in due course of time.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I read this little passage from The Mother. I want to know whether Sri Aurobindo is talking about Radha or the Hladini Shakti here. If not, who is the Power of the Mother mentioned here?: 📖😊🙏🏻🌄🌼[…]

Fortunately this question was asked to Sri Aurobindo though in different words. We have a clear, concise and complete answer from him on this issue. The letter is as quoted below.

This is a clear proof of the fact that when the Chandi was composed the Radha-Power was not manifested to the vision of the saints and that the Chandi mentions…

Today I had a remarkable dream. I felt that something profoundly spiritual had happened to India. It seemed that Mother India, the Divine Feminine Power, had become firmly established in the nation, and that a deep realization had awakened in the collective consciousness of the country. 🗺️😊🙏🏻🪷🌄[…]

This is not just a dream but a dream vision. It is true to the details. Yes, Mother India is rising to reclaim Her Glory and redeem the world. The other woman is clearly the anti-divine forces whose time has come. They are angry at the rise of India’s glory and know …

In her prayer of May 17, 1914, Mother writes, “One day thou wilt be my head but for the moment turn thy gaze towards the earth.” When a disciple enquired what the phrase “thou wilt be my head” means, She answered that “The head is the original conceiving Consciousness. “Could you simplify the meaning of all this a little further for me? 📖😊🙏🏻🌼

Head is the hub that conceives whereas heart is the hub that impels towards action.

What the Mother seems to be experiencing here, in this prayer, is to withdraw from everything including all action. She wants to be completely one with the pure Consciousness in its origin. But the command for her is…
