AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Can the psychic being change its field of work in the same life after developing to a certain extent? It seems like leaving something midway externally, but it takes a more challenging field that will also expedite the divine manifestation, or it may even be called to it. It just decides to do something else the next day and then the external changes follow. The old life falls away, the progress is integrated and a new life has started, everything in one lifetime. What is the purpose of this?πŸŒ±β˜€οΈπŸ’–πŸ•―οΈ

The psychic being is more concerned with changing one’s inner field of nature, of rectifying the attitudes so that one grows closer to the Divine. As to the type of work, an awakened psychic being accepts whatever work falls to its lot, with glad surrender, whether it be a big or small work. The actual work has little to do with the Divine Manifestation except for some special instances of certain conscious souls that have completed their curve of development and are here for a specific work. Such souls are prepared from early on so that they are equipped for their mission. They are also impelled towards the work they are destined to do by their Swadharma as well as by the arrangement of circumstances. But this is rare. Generally the outer field etc change because of the need for a certain experience for the developing soul.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Is drinking small quantities of alcohol really that bad? Most people I know consume alcohol in some measure. I noticed that the ones who quit it completely face backlash from Society. For example, I heard business people say that you can’t trust a person who doesn’t drink. πŸ₯‚πŸ’¬πŸΈπŸŽΆ[…]

It is not a question of good or bad from a moral point of view. But drinking alcohol is certainly harmful for the physical, as well as psychological and I would even say spiritual health. The list of physical problems is too long and generally too well known to elucidate. …

Dada, there is a professor at IISC who is a sadhaka in the sampradaya of Madhvacharya, and he says that, according to him, the way to find your Swadharma is to do what you can persistently despite failure. I want to ask, is this a good way of practically knowing, or is it too reductionist? And according to you, what can be the best practical way for a young child?πŸ§’πŸ“šβœ¨πŸŒ±

That is one way of looking at it. But a slightly negative and outer way of looking at it. There are plenty of things we do which do not involve success or failure. We do it because we find a natural joy in it. This spontaneous joy …

Probably 4-5 years ago, I had read a book named ‘Immortal Talks’ by an author named Shunya. Last time I checked, the author hadn’t revealed their identity. So the book is about Hanuman and how He imparts the ultimate knowledge to this particular tribe of people every 40 years and the story revolves around it. You can call its genre fiction. As I read that, I felt such a deep connection with Hanuman. πŸ“–πŸΉπŸ›•πŸŒ„πŸŒ»[…]

It is not a dream but a real contact with the ever living legendary Hanuman who continues to help the simple hearted devotees upon earth to turn towards dharma.Β
