AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

What about the wives of warriors (Soilders) of Mahabharata, only 18 person remaining after war🤔?

They suffered, as Arjuna had feared. Wars, especially wars in ancient times almost invariably led to great number of widows as well as girls and women who were left with few choices. Multiple wives and the ‘mixture of blood’ was the price people paid. This immature and the breakdown of old established institutions is the price every generation pays subsequent to any great War. We find the same during the two world wars of the previous century as well. The Time-Spirit uses all this to create new civilisational values and new modes of living. Paradoxically wars, often open unexpected doors to the future. The modern movement of feminism, for example, owes itself largely to the war. Of course wars are best avoided but in our present state of evolution it seems yet unlikely that nations can drop all guards. As long as human nature remains what it is wars will be inevitable.
