Friends are there to share our joys and sorrows. When a joy is shared with a friend it gets doubled and when a sorrow is shared with a friend, it gets halved. Hence God created friends to multiply our joy and reduce our sorrow.
Friends also teach us sharing and caring. They can be great support during difficulties and crisis. Of course one must carefully chose one’s friends and even make God our friend.
