AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In the divine family of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Kartikeya, each deity is shown with an animal or vāhana — Nandi, the snake, the lion, the mouse, and the peacock. Interestingly, these animals are natural enemies and could destroy one another but how do they live in harmony there? What is the deeper spiritual meaning behind this symbolism, and what does it teach us🤔?

It gives us the secret of harmony which is to unite around the Divine Self and recognize our one and common Divine Mother. We may call Her Nature or the eternal Womb and Origin of everything. But the day mankind discards all these assumed identities and beliefs and recovers its true origin, then naturally love and harmony follows.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
