AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Alok Da Sir, is it possible to recover one’s Faith without any external help? If so, how is one supposed to do that? ❀️‍πŸ”₯

Everything can be recovered as nothing is ever lost that has ever touched or been awakened in the soul. Faith, being an attribute of the soul, it is never lost. It may be covered for a while, but it is like a fire that keeps burning beneath the smoke and ashes and the blinding storms of life.Β

As to the way of awakening, or rather rekindling it again, the simplest way is to ask it from the Divine. Another way is to read books that kindle faith and aspiration. The Scriptures are meant to do that and one can choose based on one’s predilection. Of course, the company of those who are full of faith is also helpful, though sometimes other not-so-helpful things may also come as a baggage.Β

At the same time, one should guard against any future ‘loss’ of faith by observing what covered it up. For example,Β  mental and vital faith get easily covered up since the former depends upon proofs and the latter on fulfillment of demands. But the soul’s faith is like a self-sustaining flame that depends upon nothing external and continues to burn even if all appearances are to the contrary. It is this soul faith that one must cultivate by having a complete trust in the Divine Grace and Wisdom that knows what is best for us.

Affectionately
