AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sir, can you give your opinion on the peter heeh’s biography on Sri Aurobindo? was it really written from authenticated sources of ashram archive?

Much water has flown since the book came out. I have almost written a book on my criticism of the book. Several other acclaimed scholars have also written critiques about the book. If you ask me in one line, it is the classic case of the Devil quoting the Scripture. He twists it just enough to distort its meaning, uses partial truths lacing it with his opinions as if these opinions were part of the facts, conceals the most important facts thereby turning half truths into lies, even uses innuendos craftily and cunningly almost mocking at divinity and the divine possibility in man. He is the classic example of the Asura of Death portrayed in Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri. Need I say more.

His leftist leanings are well known and his stance of looking at spirituality from a typical old world western materialistic mindset with no sympathy for India and Indians is evident. The man and the book are diabolic, to say the least.

Affectionately,

Alok da
