AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada, whenever I feel a downpour of presence from the top of my head, my lustful tendencies grow, and subsequently, I feel a blockage in descent and a great discomfort with some pain in my head. Even after repeated rejections, these suggestions of lust come even more strongly. How to reject them permanently, as I feel that I am just suppressing them. πŸ«₯πŸ¦‹

It takes time, and one has to be very patient. Rejecting lustful thoughts is not enough. One needs to stay busy and do a lot of exercise. The sexual energy must be sublimated into creative activities, and there should be regular readings and reflection so that the mind is preoccupied with beautiful thoughts. Read a few passages from Savitri or any book of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo before you meditate.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da
