How does it matter what people think about you. A flower blooms not because people may appreciate, – they may or may not. It blooms because it is its nature, its joy, its purpose. Anything done for people with a need for appreciation invariably brings disappointment. One should bloom like a flower, flow like a river without worrying about who likes the fragrance and who drinks the water. When we do things with this inner joy, this inner dedication then there is no bitterness as there is no expectation.
