AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I had a dream where I was on the verge of committing suicide, but I was delighted and was imagining my future life. Then suddenly I got reminded of my parents, which gave me a shock of what I was doing, and I started weeping when I woke up, but I was still weeping then. Does it indicate my attempt to annul my ego, which I couldnโ€™t do due to my attachments? ๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ฃ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿƒ

Suicide never annuls the ego. It only kills the body. The ego is not a physical, material principle but a subtle psychological one. The first step to get rid of the ego is by removing our false identification with the body and mind that makes us believe we are this. The second step is by identifying ourselves with that which we truly are, – a portion of the Divine Himself.ย

Affectionately,

Why should you worry or fear? If you believe that you are The Mother’s child, then where is the room for any anxiety or worry?
