AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dear Sir, I have a question bothering me, troubling me. I have asked you before on your YouTube Channel via Comments. But I just can’t understand…. how the Divine Mother can get sick or have back trouble. 🤔👵🏼🌼🧬[…]

Is it only because She was doing Transformational Yoga for the body? Is it because She was taking in the sickness and disorder of the World? Because how can the Mother of the Worlds … in her own Creation, … in her own substance of being … how can even the cells and atoms not listen to her… they are her???

This is the only thing that doesn’t make sense… it just doesn’t make sense to me…

This is so with every Avatar. Though they are a direct intervention of the Divine, they take a human body and with it all the challenges of the human body. In fact the very purpose of the Avatar is to show how to navigate through and transcend the human difficulties and transmute them into a means for union with the Divine.

In addition the Mother being who She is took upon herself, in her very body (the very seat of imperfection) all the very difficulties of the disciples. And yes, the very process of transformation implied an increasing pressure upon the body which, though specially prepared for the Work, was still human, and hence prone to human sufferings. This is the price the Divine pays when He comes to earth for its transfiguration. It is described in Savitri as the debt the Divine pays to earth and man described in Savitri in these lines.

‘He who would save the race must share its pain:

This he shall know who obeys that grandiose urge.

The Great who came to save this suffering world

And rescue out of Time’s shadow and the Law,

Must pass beneath the yoke of grief and pain;

They are caught by the Wheel that they had hoped to break,

On their shoulders they must bear man’s load of fate.

Heaven’s riches they bring, their sufferings count the price

Or they pay the gift of knowledge with their lives.’

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, I asked you a few days ago that my every friend is being removed from my life, not that we are fighting or something, but they either get married or they shift to other place. You replied that Mother is preparing me for a big change and new friends with same aspiration will come to me. But Dada, when? 🌱🕊️ […]

Actually you have yourself answered it. There is something in you that seeks the Divine but there are parts of nature that refuse. The ‘loneliness’ has been provided so that you can make a conscious choice. The dryness of which you speak is only a passage but …

After coming to the center, Mother is fulfilling all of my aspirations like to be a part of the sadhaks, getting chance to clean the place near Samadhi, plucking flower for Mother etc. But my dipper and at present most aspired thing is to Live In her Presence. 🙏🏻🌼 […]

I am glad you have the opportunity to serve Her in the center. It is indeed a privilege and a Grace to be able to serve the Divine in anyway and anywhere.

Regarding your question about the sadhaks and their nature or the extent of their realisation, all that I would say is that it is best not to let the mind run in that direction as it is harmful for our progress. First of all we are not equipped to see let alone judge what is happening inside others. All our judgments have little meaning in our…

As I look within me, there is one part which is luminous, wants the Divine and at the same time there is this another dark part which is creating so much trouble. Sometimes thoughts linger on desires and ambition and I consciously pull them back; sometimes past wrong tendencies come up. 🪷🙏🏻 […]

This division is in everybody. It is by sadhana that one becomes one-pointed. It takes long time. Faith, sincerity, aspiration and surrender hastens the process. Depression, guilt, doubts, frustration make the process more complicated and longer….
