At the beginning, energy was sufficient & the feeling of weakness was manageable. And after the downfall of Nisha, if a feeling of weakness comes, then it could be recovered at that time (in the beginning). But after 2 years, some imbalance started in the body, like headache, sleeping problem (whole night waking), then started walking in the verandah 40-50 rounds, & after the tired of leg a little sleepiness comes. It was almost a very dangerous phase. Though after seeing the video of Sri Aurobindo in Alipore jail, life changed to a different dimension, it’s a different thing altogether.
Question is, is it possible to recover the lost energy through a natural process like doing some exercises like surya namaskar, squat, morning running & including meditation?
Also, does one have the right to complain to the Mother about why she didn’t educate this man properly? If she had, the man would not have suffered this type of situation at least. & These energies were taken by the hostile forces. Where was the mother at that time? Also, thanks a lot to the Mother and Sri Aurobindo that they saved the life.
Everything is possible and there is nothing irreparable that the Grace cannot mend. But how will the Grace act if we close ourselves to it through doubt and disbelief and the misuse of reason? The Divine has given every human being the faculty of reason that man must use for his progress and to discern the right from the wrong. But most human beings misuse it and hence suffer. It is somewhat like having a lot of money left by the parents at our disposal, but we throw it away. We all have been given a certain capacity to feel, to will, to reason out and make right and conscious choice. These are our gifts or human inheritance. But we are given the freedom to choose these gifts to climb to the skies or plunge into hell. Can there be any true evolution without this freedom of choice? Otherwise we would be like the machine that answers everything, does everything right but knows nothing, understands nothing, evolves nothing. The Divine does not want us to be automatons like that, a humanoid driven by AI, perfect, and faultless, yet artificial and false.
In fact, if at all, it is God who has all the reasons to complain. Not only does He gift us with basic intelligence, but also leaves us with several teachings, books, influence and His own example. Yet we choose dirt over real gold, shining glass pieces over real diamonds. Whose fault is that?
Think about it, assume the responsibility towards yourself, the law of choices and consequences, the little role that we too must play and do your bit. Then perhaps you will be able to see the action of the Divine much more often. After all, it was surely not by chance that you came across Sri Aurobindo’s video. Think about it and you will see what Sri Aurobindo and The Mother went through to come near to us.
Affectionately
Alok Da
