Those who went away were those who, despite Sri Aurobindo’s repeated cautions, could not or rather refused to open to The Mother. They did not turn away because they had defects of nature. They went away because they had a big ego which refused to surrender. Even then, Sri Aurobindo and The Mother never abandoned them.ย
The key is faith and love and you have it in abundance. It will take you through everything.

She already had her identification with the Divine Mother, the Mother of the gods. That had happened already in 1914 as you will see in Her prayers of September 1914. Sri Aurobindo had also recognised it long back. It was because of this identification that She could bring down the gods in the Ashram atmosphere and in the consciousness of the disciples. It was due to her tapasya that Sri krishna accepted to bind himself with Sri Aurobindo’s being.
