AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have held these experiences close out of fear they might be mere mental illusions, but they have now become constant: spontaneously seeing the Mother’s feet or form before me, her symbol glowing during prayer, and a deep orange sun against the sky.๐Ÿชทโœจ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป[…]

In dreams, calling the Mother’s name or encountering a brilliant white light immediately grants protection and healing, while in night meditation I have seen myself enclosed in a cocoon of soft white light. These visual and inner occurrences feel distinct from ordinary mental images yet different from physical sight. Could you please guide me on how to understand these spiritual experiences and whether they represent true inner realities?

These are all genuine experiences that indicate a deep inner link with the Divine Mother, especially Her Knowledge or Maheshwari aspect. The cocoon of white Light is a safety against any and every danger. In fact, whenever you have little time, and especially in the face of danger you can imagine this cocoon and all will be safe.

It is a clear sign that the Divine Mother is not only with you and watching over your progress but has taken charge of your life.

Beautiful Grace.ย

Affectionately,ย

Alok Da

Alok da, I was going through this work by the philosopher Descartes called Rules for the Direction of the Mind. So much of this work is about how to better purify the various human faculties of sense perception, memory, judgment, imagination, etc., so that one can observe minute facts of nature with precision and without prejudiced universal presuppositions and arrive at a true universal knowledge, which is arrived at only after mastery of minute particulars. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒ„[…]

Certainly the Hindus knew the various means of purifying the mind and intelligence and, during the heydays of ancient India, the Vedic period and even much later, they did turn it both inwards and outwards. That is how they discovered such wonderful things which included plastic surgery, an elaborate pharmacopeia, warcraft and deadly weapons, principles of politics and administration, rules of mathematics and chemistry, linguistics and …

Sir, is whatever happens with us is always for our best? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒผ

The Mother has given a very beautiful and complete answer to this.

‘Is it really the best that always happens?… It is clear that all that has happened had to happen: it could not be otherwiseโ€”by the universal determinism it had to happen. But we can say so only after it has happened, not before. For the problem of the very best that can happen is an individual problem, whether the individual be a nation or a single human being; and all depends upon the personal attitude. If, in the presence of circumstances…
