AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

After terrible situations and traumas continuously, I have now turned completely against the divine and everything that stands for him. I hate everything about him, He is non-existent to me. He is nothing but an absentee landlord. 🌑🕯️🙏[…]

This so-called spiritual path was never meant for me and it was nothing but an utter foolishness my heart chose and believed in for years, trying to find the meaning only to find there is nothing, nothing for me. If this is the road the Divine leads to, then he is the actual villain and not the asuras. I am done. Done with everything.

Dear child

I can understand your anger towards the Divine because you have faced certain difficulties and challenging situations and circumstances. I am not sure if the mere act of turning against the Divine will help. If there is, as you believe, an omnipotent Manichean God who inflicts sufferings then isn’t it better to simply try to sort out things with your own inner understanding and strength rather than open another front against the Divine. And if, contrary to your belief and limited understanding, there is actually a Divine who is well-meaning and wants to help, then why turn against and close the doors to whatever small or big help He may be trying to help you. Why not just continue your effort, taking the challenge of life, regardless of your belief or non-belief in God. After all, he is not going to lose anything in the process, though you may.

Besides, does one give up so soon, in fact, ever in life. Should you not apply reason and see if your conclusions are premature and based on faulty premises, such as, for example, if there is a Divine, then He must ensure all my difficulties are over. At least that has never been the case with the Pandavas, all His chosen ones, including Rama himself. Try to understand why it is so. Maybe the answer lies there.

I can’t say more since you haven’t written about the nature of your difficulties. If you feel appropriate you can write to me about them.

Meanwhile, sending you Love and prayers.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dear Alok da, I would like to know more about Dutta who was Mother’s companion from Britain. Are there any books that write about her? Or can you tell me something about her? What did she represent?

Dutta also known as Ms Hodgson was The Mother’s friend since adolescence. She traveled with the Mother wherever She went and stayed in Pondicherry until leaving her body.

The name Dutta was given to her by Sri Aurobindo meaning ‘Offered one’.

She is indeed the one who was the first one to exclaim on the Siddhi day ‘The Lord has conquered death’ which…

Today, my parents were listening to a very popular Shiva Mahapuran Kathavachak. During the Katha, he mentioned that Lord Shiva is superior to Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. The reason he gave was related to the position of their respective Shaktis.

This is even factually incorrect. Saraswati has been revered and worshipped since the Vedic Age. At that point she is not regarded as a consort of Brahma but as the goddess of Vak, the Word of creation. There is no Brahma but Brahmanaspati, or Brahaspati in the Vedic Age. Later Puranic legend shows Saraswati brought out from Brahma but it is she …

Namaste Alok Da. I want to learn about the Typal Beings. What are they, and when did the typal beings appear in the Involution or Creation process? Were they created after the 4 fallen Emanations (Consciousness or Light; Life; Love or Beatitude; and Truth), as the 4 Emanations fell, as the Mother took the plunge; or after creation and during the evolutionary process? 🌌⚔️✨🙏[…]

The typal beings are not evolutionary. They are fixed to type. The gods, the titans, the beings of the mid-worlds are all typal beings.

Creation began with the first four emanations (Sat-Chit-Tapas-Ananda). These are the four original aspects of the Divine. Each being an aspect of the Divine acted in complete freedom sharing the absoluteness of the Divine. But this very sense of absolute freedom led to their being ‘apparently separated’ from the Divine Origin. There could never be any real separation. But each perceived the sense of absolute power as if independent of the Origin…
