How can we purify ambition? I feel driven to be very ambitious. But I know it will make me a selfish, ugly person and it is not something wise to do. I want to know how I can direct the energies in the right direction. What is a step by step method so that I don’t lose the motivation🤨?

No need to turn away from anything.  Selfishness has nothing to do with achievements and ambition. The danger of ambition is pride and vanity or fears and anxieties. But if you take the right attitude, of progress, of everything belonging to Her then nothing can harm.

Turn ambition into the pursuit of excellence and perfection in whatever you do.

Turn work into worship of the Divine Mother. 

Take all achievements as Her blessing and use them for Her service.

Remember and offer to the Divine Mother all you are and do and become.

Yes. Pressure upon the crown takes place before the full opening.

Many, many, many experiences come. It is best not to get too much into analysing, understanding them else one can easily get distracted or the ego may get puffed up. People who make such remarks are unfortunately very poorly informed about either Bergson and Kant let alone Sri Aurobindo whom they have certainly not read.
