It means that whatever be the inner or outer challenges and difficulties we must remember that the Divine has given the promise to man that if one surrenders oneself completely to the Lord then it is the Divine who takes complete responsibility of freeing him from ignorance which is the mother of evil, suffering, fear and sin.
