AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Kindly elucidate the following lines of Savitri-1)The chamber where the glorious enemies kiss (Book 3 Canto 2 line 34)🤔

The Supramental in which the Spirit and Matter both meet in their respective truth, as complimenting rather than opposing each other.

2)There is a zero sign of the Supreme;-Nature left nude and still uncovers God.(Book 3 Canto 2 lines 56-57)

When nature becomes still and one enters a state of Nothingness. In that state one can discover the Divine Presence hidden behind Nature and its workings.

3)The zero covers an immortal face.(Book 3 Canto 2 line 61)

The zero refers to the Void, Shunyam, silent Brahman referred to by the yogis as the ultimate Reality, thereby canceling creation (as Maya) as well as the idea of a Creator (as another fiction of the Mind). However Sri Aurobindo as well as Sri Krishna both confirm that the behind the Zero there is the Supreme Divine as the Purushottama along with His Shakti, the Divine Mother. The experience of the Zero is described in Book Three Canto One. What lies beyond and behind it is described in Book Three Canto Two.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Giving true love to anyone increases the force of love in you. Increase of the energy of love gives natural spontaneous joy. It is not the love that you receive from others that

Sir, Book 1, Canto 4, “The master of existence lurks in us” – This is my absolute favourite, well, for now. I haven’t read the whole Savitri yet, but till now this is my most lovely Canto. I write the whole passage on paper while reading each word; this I do often. 📖📘✒️😊🌾[…]
