If you feel that you want to be a lawyer you should do it. As to learning English there are a number of Spoken English courses that can help you with that. There are even free lessons on YouTube which can guide you.

Yes one should do some meaningful work for livelihood. The work you would want to do should be something you find naturally interesting. So before you start your LLB, find out what is the work of a lawyer and if it interests you. If it is interesting then you can do it.

Disinterested means not because of personal interest, for the gains one might get from it. It is not lack of interest but the absence of any selfish motive in the work.
