AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I went to Prayagraj to experience this special Maha Kumbh mela and the confluence of energies. All in all we had a negative experience where our tents were cancelled and it took extremely long to get there😥 [conti]

The next day all my friends went to bathe in the Ganga at sunrise but something in me refused to go even though I thought I’d just step into the water and do a prayer. Not even to do a full dip. When they asked if I was joining them, a vehement “No” came out of my mouth. I was also surprised inwardly as the point of coming there was to dip in the Ganges. I then decided to just open to the cosmic energies there and prayed to the Divine Mother to infuse in me whatever energies I needed from being there from the room.

Now I’m wondering if I missed out on certain energies through the Ganges water as they say the energies are all absorbed through the water and thus enter us when we go into the water. Why did such a vehement No emerge from me when my intentions were to go into the Ganges?

Could you please enlighten me to understand as I was the only one who didn’t go for a dip.

I don’t think you missed anything. Though the decision not to take a dip must have been due to the negative state built up because of reaction to the situations and circumstances. There are quite a few people who chose not to take a dip even though they went there, mainly as a one-time experience of a rarest event. But to believe that taking a dip will wash away sins and grant moksha is of course stretching a bit too far.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Regarding the Four Aspects of the Mother, Alok da, I sense a parallel in Sri Aurobindo’s evaluation of various poets in which they excel and in which they lack. Poets like Keats have a lyrical sweetness and beauty but lack vital power and raw force, which a poet like Browning has. 📜✒️😊🙏🏻🪷[…]

Yes. Not only in poetry as you have rightly pointed out, but in everything, in the least atom and grain of sand one can see the working of the four aspects and the Knowledge and Power of the Divine Mother hidden behind it. ..

Today evening while meditating on mother’s organ music on fairy dance, firstly I saw a living mountain having two big eyes and it was seeing all around with those eyes and then a number appeared again and again in that vision it is a number 349 what does it’s means sir.

The living mountain is the physical consciousness under the influence of the Psychic aspiration. 349 perhaps means the 3 lower and 4 higher planes that are embedded or involved within the physical consciousness represented by number 9. The dream implies that your physical consciousness is open to the Divine Influence.
