AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have a question regarding the evil eye for babies and kids. Usually in India, there is a saying in almost every society that babies and kids are easily susceptible to ‘Nazar Lagana’, either bad or good, so people do some rituals to ward off such things. 🫣[…]

Is this a superstition or is it a real thing? Can you give your opinion on this? In this digital era, we keep on sharing our babies and kids’ pictures socially or in family groups. People say that we should avoid it. In that way, Nazar can also occur. Any facts behind all this? Kindly correct me with this evil eye syndrome, and if it really persists, what precautions should we consider for kids? Has Mother mentioned anything about such things?

The eyes are not only organs that receive the sensory impacts but also organs of extramission, that is to say, organs that in some way transmit the energies of one person to another. Casting an evil eye, or bad glance, gaze of love, of anger, fear, desire, ill-will, gaze of reassurance, of peace, compassion, strength are all well known. It is a fact and not a superstition, though we may not know the exact mechanism behind it.

Yes, freely sharing of photographs on social media is certainly not something advisable from the occult point of view. Though it is true of adults as well, – something that the Instagram generation seeking for attention does not understand, but children upto the age of 12 are quite vulnerable. They are not individualised and therefore easily open to universal currents from which they can easily absorb many unwanted things. The photograph or a reel is a projection of something of the energy-field and consciousness of the person and can serve as a medium to connect both ways. The Mother has described all this knowledge in great detail, especially the role of ill-will in illnesses.

Well, the way to protect and prevent these things is to surround the child with a protective atmosphere of peace and love, especially from the parents whose blessings do count. Besides, the atmosphere of goodwill can be reinforced through prayers and objects that can emit protective energies, especially if the child develops a spontaneous faith in them, such as amulets and a picture of gods or saints. It is, however, important not to induce fear of any kind since fear is the one single factor that opens the doors to the adversary most easily.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Today, I want to ask a personal question and I want to keep my identity hidden, as this is a very personal question that I don’t understand. I am currently in a relationship and my boyfriend smokes and drinks. 🚬🍷😥🥀❤️‍🩹[…]

Smoking and drinking are extremely difficult to quit. Being in relationship with someone with these two habits is going to be very straining in the long run. In relationship one should look for a long term togetherness. Short term attractiveness, outer looks etc do not last long. Important thing is whether your thoughts, aims and goals …
