AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Can we understand Sri Aurobindo and His yoga with the physical mind, as you say physical mind never grasps the Truth in its highest sense. So if we feel good by reading Sri Aurobindo or The Mother, even that is from the physical plane, wanting a good, perfect physical life. 😅❤️‍🔥🦋 […]

Because in other Yogas, everybody says physical life should be endured. Here, Sri Aurobindo gives hope for betterment. So we come for that benefit too, in this very life. But how long will it last? Because the True Aspiration must be something higher, not the present benefit…

Yes, it is difficult for the physical mind to shift its fixed position and comfort zones. It feels lost and insecure. But once it accepts the New Idea, then it gets firmly established there. It is somewhat like learning a new language or a new equipment, wherein our old learning stands in the way. The first step, therefore, is always a leap of faith. However, if there is a will and an aspiration, however weak and vague, yet it ultimately has its way. With time, the aspiration gets stronger and stronger and a point comes when the resistance is overcome as one contacts the spirit behind the outer form. One day, it is bound to happen. But when is a question that only The Lord knows.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Yes. Pressure upon the crown takes place before the full opening.

It is like getting delayed by the scenery on the way. Stay focused on giving oneself more and more to the Divine, growing in faith, sincerity, love and surrender,…

Someone asked me whether Sri Aurobindo has adopted the ideas from Hegel and Kant. How can I reply to him? Please help me and refer to some books.  📚🧠✨

Sri Aurobindo’s major works include two treatises on the Vedas including a deep and intricate study of Vedic philology, the major Upanishads with a detailed commentary on the Isha and Kena, detailed essays on the Gita, Foundations of Indian Culture. His two most important works has, one, the story of Savitri as a base; the second,..
