AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

You recently spoke of the mother’s prophecies, long back I remember reading about her prophecy of london sinking underwater, is this also inevitable?

There is indeed a prophesy like that which is more like caution that being on the sea level, if the waters rise high in the Thames, then London runs the risk of being badly flooded and affected. But the sinking may well be a symbol of the civilisation sinking under the weight of karma. If that be so then the process seems to have begun..

Sri Aurobindo however made another prophesy. It is about the destruction of Europe by a child which is clearly symbolic of Europe and is civilisational values being completely destroyed by the growing pressure of the New Creation. Here is the prophesy.

‘Europe prides herself on her practical and scientific organisation and efficiency. I am waiting till her organisation is perfect; then a child shall destroy her.’

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I feel the pressure on my crown when I do meditation. Also, is this a common occurrence? This crown thing? It appears now and again randomly and gains momentum during meditation. Meditations have literally changed. It feels like as though I took a subtle bath(a rather risky turn of phrase ) every time I meditate. Why is this happening to me? Someone asked me whether Sri Aurobindo has adopted the ideas from Hegel and Kant. How can I reply to him? Please help me and refer to some books.  📚🧠✨

People who make such remarks are unfortunately very poorly informed about either Bergson and Kant let alone Sri Aurobindo whom they have certainly not read.

Sri Aurobindo’s major works include two treatises on the Vedas including a deep and intricate study of Vedic philology, the major Upanishads with a detailed commentary on the Isha and Kena, detailed essays on the Gita, Foundations of Indian Culture. His two most important works has, one, the story of Savitri as a base; the second,..
