By teaching them self-mastery and self-control, not giving in to unreasonable demands, by instilling the will to take challenges and persevere. They should be taught to delay gratification. The urge to progress towards perfection rather than the pursuit of happiness should be awakened in the children from a very young age, and they should be taught to value time and be punctual and regular in whatever they undertake.Β
