AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Why does it happen that we can not like all the times the people we love😪?!

Liking is based on surface attractions, in certain vital physical affinities, even emotional satisfactions whereas love is based on something much deeper, the recognition and reaching out of soul to soul cutting through the walls of form and personality, bypassing likes and dislikes in an intuitive flash that knows the answering soul. Likes and dislikes come and go, surface attractions wear off with time, even emotional hunger may turn away somewhere else for its satiation, but love, once born never dies regardless of the outer life and destinies moving in different directions.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Alok Da, can you please explain the last line written by Sri Aurobindo? 🌄

A vivid dream experience is generally of a symbolic nature that reveals a deeper truth through the sign language of dreams. A vision, on the other hand is an…
