AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Some days back, I had a dream where I saw a lion who became very happy on seeing me and started playing with me. However, playfully, he started biting my left hand. […]🦁🙂🌼🍃

But then I got a feeling that the bite was getting stronger and the basic animal instinct in him was taking over his rational thinking. So I started to hit him continuously on his neck multiple times, although without force, to stop him from doing that.

After that, he stopped, and I went away from that place but I could feel in my dream that I had learned a lesson: Never become too friendly with wild animals and one should stop them at arm’s length before their wild instincts take over. What could this dream mean?

Seeing a lion in the dream normally indicates the Divine Mother’s power of protection against adverse forces. His playful bites were possibly its attempts to pull out some adverse forces that may have entered within. It was like an operation to extricate some adverse elements working within.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
