AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In a relationship between husband and wife, if one of the spouses is not in alignment in thought with the other and if there are constant battles between them for various other reasons, is it wise to continue the relationship or abandon it? 🥀👨🏼❤️‍🩹👩🏼

It depends. Generally, if the couple are not in sync with core issues, and if instead of accepting if not supporting each other, they are quarreling, then surely it is better to separate. However, one has to consider other factors such as having a child or not, the length and duration of marriage, whether one wants to remarry or not, the goal one has placed for oneself, etc. Sometimes, instead of separating, it is simpler and better to mutually agree upon giving space and freedom to each other to pursue their lives independently while being together for certain common aspects of outer physical existence.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
