AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Alokda, I have seen so many videos of the Ashram from outside and some of the Samadhi on YouTube, but I’ve never been able to visit the Pondicherry Ashram in person yet. It’s a deep-hearted wish of mine to be able to come soon, hopefully within this year. A friend of mine visited the Ashram and showed it to me live from outside. 🌸💧[…]

And somehow, the moment I saw it, I felt this sudden sense of being wrapped in a big hug and warmth. I was sitting right in front of Savitri, looking at Sri Aurobindo, when the call came. I ended up with tears in my eyes. It honestly felt as if, through that video call, I had somehow touched the Divine so completely, as if I had been longing for this. I am unable to keep the tears in – Alok Da, how is it that the joy manifested as tears in my eyes?

These are tears of psychic longing and the joy at having found its true Home.
