It is best not to mix things which belong to different orders of Reality. It will create confusion. For example karmic scar, etc. The karmic law is not only for divorcee but also for celebates. There are plenty of singles as well as ‘happily married’ who have quite a frivolous life. We should not sit on judgments upon people. Sri Krishna had more than one marriage so did The Mother. Would you judge them with karmic scars? Why should a divorcee be necessarily bad? Why should an older person not make a good husband? In fact he is more experienced and sobered by age. More importantly trying to control all these checklists in the hope of finding the so-called ideal partner is such a futile exercise because it presumes that the mind has the capacity to know the future. It doesn’t. That is why faith in God, trust in destiny are needed.
The second presumption is that the perfect person didn’t walk in because of the Divine Will. Well, perhaps he did walk in but one didn’t notice. Besides the Divine Will rarely acts openly in the world. It is always distorted by the human egos and desires through which it crosses.
Overanalysing and overexpecting create more difficulties than a simple trust, willingness to accept the present imperfections of life and then trying to work through them towards a better tomorrow. Nothing is ready made here. We are given raw materials to work with. A perfect life or a perfect relationship is not something ready made. It has to be built and that needs patience, sacrifice, understanding, love and such things.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
