AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

But in one of your talks, I heard a story of Ramayana from you. It goes as, when Vibhishan was staying in Ayodhya, he had that strong urge to have non-veg food (as was his habit), so he went to the jungle to hunt animals. πŸ‡πŸΉπŸŒ„πŸŒ»[…]

But slowly he had to stop it, as first he had a vomit from that, then he himself didn’t feel like it and that way he got rid of it with the Grace of Shree Rama. (I don’t remember the story exactly, so pardon and correct me if there is a mistake). So somehow he gave expression to what his desire was, didn’t he? But still, he was liberated from it. Was it because he was internally rejecting it, yet could not fight the urge to express it? Please correct me if I am wrong anywhere.

It is because of his love and bhakti and surrender to Lord Rama that the change came. That is the key.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
