AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

It’s mentioned in Hindu scriptures that we are reborn again, as the Soul has its own journey and this body is just a carrier for this life. I just wanted to understand how many births does this soul takes. Is there anything written about this in the Gita or any Vedic writings? ❤️‍🔥😊🙏🏻🪷[…]

And does our soul ever get assimilated into any Gods, like Krishna consciousness or like to any Divine Being? What’s the end goal of our Soul journey? Is it just rebirth without any goal or deeper destiny? What can one do if we don’t want to get reborn..? Is there any chance that if someone wants their Soul to assimilate in any Divine Being by prayers and good work in this cycle of birth… can it occur? I am just confused about our soul’s destiny not being in our own hands; it’s just a divine plan that is predestined, and we are just puppets of a higher order.

I hope my stupid questions don’t bother you much, Alok Da.

I think there are a number of talks on this subject on Auromaa. Rebirth is neither a mechanical journey where we get back to the same point after a challenging roundabout. Nor is it a tribunal of reward and punishment. Rebirth is an evolutionary mechanism wherein the soul passes from life to life as a child goes from one class to another, building upon the base, growing and progressing, through all the adventure of success and failure, until the child becomes the person it was meant to be.

So too our souls are seeds of the Divine. Each life is like a classroom through which it passes until it grows into what it is meant to be according to the Divine Idea within it.

Quitting the school prematurely is not possible. Besides, it would mean denying oneself the full Divine possibility. That the Divine possibility will manifest one day is certain, but the time or lives taken, the number of experiences needed, depends at least partly on the choices we make. In the beginning these are ignorant choices, but as the soul learns through consequences, it progresses towards true discernment and hastens its journey. When it begins to consciously aspire for the Divine, then it is rather close to its goal, possibly a couple of lives more. After that, it can come back as a god upon earth, fuse with one of the gods (cosmic powers) and engage in helping other souls move up the ladder. Or it may retire to a blissful state in one of the higher planes, either influencing indirectly from above or else even merge into the Supreme and be done with life and birth and fate.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I usually don’t really want to talk about the specific struggles but I am just being open now.

Yes, I understand. Life can be quite challenging at times. But once one navigates through it then there is born a real hero. There is no difficulty, inner or outer that cannot be eventually overcome by the Grace. But we have to hold on to faith and endure the

This seems to be a wave of depression that is trying to catch you, partly because of the loneliness as you don’t seem to have a good friend to share your issues and troubles. Partly it is because of lack of clarity about a goal. Aimlessness often opens the doors to fears.

Thank you for your guidance. Through recent reflection, I realized my struggles stemmed from a lack of true sincerity—reacting from superficial judgments, unnecessary fear, and wavering faith rather than seeing things with humility and patience. 🌱🔥🌸🙏[…]

To recognize the insincerities is itself a great step forward towards sincerity. Most people, even in the Yoga or so they believe, are unable to see their own hidden insincerities. It is indeed a Grace and the sign of the true spiritual life growing in you.
