AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada, I’m going through a breakup phase right now and I don’t feel like getting out of bed or reading the books of the Master’s. Not only that, over the past one year, I’ve observed that all of my friends are being removed from my life in one way or the other. 💔😓🌸🦋[…]

It’s not that we fight or anything, but naturally they either shift or get married, etc etc. Dada, why is this happening? No matter how hard I try to make connections, at the end of the day I’m alone. And I love being socially connected with friends. I’m not getting what The Mother is trying to teach me in this situation over the past year. How should I tackle situations?

It is a sign that you have evolved. It is the sign of sudden progress leading to the dying away of the past and the birth of a new life. There will be an intermediary phase whence you may feel lonely, but once this phase is over, you will have new and better friends.

Use this moment to go within, rediscover yourself, reorient your goals and instead of looking behind, move towards the future with confident steps and faith in the Divine Grace.

There is nothing wrong with you. Being left alone is a Grace and a wonderful opportunity. Perhaps you are not meant to walk the common path but take the road less traveled. Rather, it is a sign that destiny has chosen you for something else, something higher and better.

Affectionately

Alok Da

I have a question, Alok Da: I recently experienced a profound, day-long state of healing, peace and detachment after contemplating that true divinity lies beyond all determinations. By consciously releasing my sense of being the “doer” and shifting to “Thy Will be done,” I moved from a state of critical analysis to one of surrender. 🕊️🙏🏻[…]

What you tried earlier is the way of discernment characteristic of gyana yoga. Here one relies almost entirely upon one’s own efforts.

The second one of renouncing the doership is the kernel of karmayoga. The third attitude of ‘Let Thy Will be done’ is the acme of bhakti yoga.

Combine the three approaches. Step back from the blind identification with the surfaces of life a…

The counsellor didn’t help Alok da. lol. Modern day psychiatry / philosophy is all based on medication and drug’s. For them smoking and lsd is normal. Stress is normal. Emotions not. Sensitivity not. She prescribed pills for me. I guess turning to God / Maa is best. 🌼🙏🏻

Yes, that is how the extreme reductionist view works. Of course medicines have their own limited role when the mind enters a too chaotic or extreme phase. But it is not enough. And yes turning to the Divine Mother is always …

I had a curious dream and I remember it perfectly, so I wanted to consult you about it. I saw a picture from a distant and elevated place. In the picture, I saw a one floor building, in a shape of a perfect square and with no roof on it. The building was further sectioned into 4 perfect squares. There were also non 🌙✨ […]

It is not just a dream but a very beautiful experience that revealed to you the truth of your destiny, your true destiny, even a glimpse of your true being, the central being in its Divine Home. That is what the square opening to the top indicates. The four perfect …
