AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada what is Self Love? Is it right? πŸ€—

Self love means not to despise oneself, to have certain amount of self respect and dignity. It means to be noble and not allow to debase and degrade oneself. It means not put oneself at the mercy of others or become a people pleaser. Most importantly it means to value our life as a gift of the Divine and fulfil the Divine Purpose in us. It becomes harmful when instead of a healthy sattwic way of relating to oneself one is driven by the desire self and lives to aggrandise the ego or despise and willfully hurt others. One has to give the same respect and dignity to others and not degrade and demean them.

Affectionately
