AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Forgive my impertinence, but I don’t see many mentions of the kinds of powers/abilities/states/ stages that the sustained practice of Integral Yoga unlocks, as confirmed in the experience of the practioners. You would excuse me, because I have been really hard pressed to find such admissions. I do understand the principle of not gracelessly publishing feats or meaningful realizations, given they are full of distractive sounds and fury for the ego.. But still I would like to know, because I am looking at it with the wonder of a child who just wants some news of his Home to which he has promised himself to journey through perils, stagnation and frustration.🌌➑️πŸͺ·πŸŒ

As mentioned above, you have not dug deep enough which is understandable given the enormous wealth of his vast and all-comprehensive literature. If you want to read all of them at one place it is Savitri. However the AIM has published an issue or two on Sri Aurobindo life, especially Footprints of God which touches upon some of the major realisations.

Of course even if none of his experiences were known, Sri Aurobindo would be so lovable. One has to only see what he has been doing and why to feel a spontaneous love and gratitude towards him. He is so full of Compassion, so adorable. Never has there been one who has loved God and Man and Earth, sacrificed so much with such love and Divine Compassion. What more is needed to love and adore him?

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It’s not at the cost of other values. Most of the Vedic Gurus discredit this line of thought(from Shraman padhatti). It’s sad but true. πŸ₯ΈπŸ•ŠοΈπŸͺ·πŸŒ„

I am not sure how this impression came across that this saying is about gods and deities. It is indeed, as you say, one of the main foundational principles of Sanatana Dharma, yet one of the least understood as far as its practice is concerned. …
