Please give us some enlightening talks, if possible, on these topics… As I remember you saying that Sri Aurobindo did not approve much of the idea of impersonal Brahman or mahavakya, etc. Is the path of loving devotion actually better as per him?
These things are coming up these days are simply the signs of a first reawakening of humanity to ancient truth in today’s times. Naturally, the terms are modern and the understanding still crude, especially because of the Western influence that is yet to get in full sympathy with these profound truths native to Eastern, mainly Indian thought. Seen from the true spiritual perspective, these are still quite superficial efforts, but they have been given a lease by the Time-Spirit to rekindle interest in these things.
However, the term non-dualism as used today is somewhat diabolic, an asuric Maya giving its own twist to take away all discernment between right and wrong impulse, true and false, by blurring all distinctions and the evolutionary hierarchy.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
