Suicide never annuls the ego. It only kills the body. The ego is not a physical, material principle but a subtle psychological one. The first step to get rid of the ego is by removing our false identification with the body and mind that makes us believe we are this. The second step is by identifying ourselves with that which we truly are, – a portion of the Divine Himself.
