AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I had a very vivid dream today, in which I was first watching viewing a crime incident completely like in movies but I wasn’t in it, was just the observer. Then the dream shifted where I was studying in group but weird sexual things started happening, and I was attracted in getting involved but saved by another person. I instantly woke up after that and felt too disgusted. Can you explain these dreams🌠?

These are not dreams only. The vividness suggests that during the body’s sleep you actually took a little stroll in the lower vital world. In the first dream you simply witnessed a slice of this world while in the other one your consciousness was almost getting dragged into it.

There is always something corresponding to these worlds in human consciousness. Ordinarily these are repressed in the subconscious parts. But there are always triggers such as watching a TV program or simply meeting a person who harbours these tendencies which can open an inner door and then, during sleep when our guards are down, we can slip into these worlds and come in contact with its forces and beings. The good thing is that you were conscious as most persons who enter these dark subconscious or lower vital realms remember nothing when they wake up.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dear Da, I’m a single child. I always have this question why don’t I have a sibling with whom I can share things. Also my parents have greater realisation of the Divine, so whenever I try something out of spirituality or try to get mixed with society, they get to know things from within and always doubt my intentions and try to keep me under their influence. And I always agree with what my parents say but there’s some limit right? I don’t want this thing da. Like if I want to share something there’s no one. If I want to mix with people, they doubt. What should I do? I always question that why me only? I’ve told The Mother that from now on you are my friend. But she’s also Divine so she never support me with material things. I’m Human, I also want some life.

I want to know if The Mother refers to Sri Aurobindo as ‘Lord’? And so, when They say, the aim of life is to know the Divine and unite with It, do they mean to know the Lord and unite with Him? So, do we look to know Sri Aurobindo and The Mother as the Divine, and unite with Them by offering ourselves to Them integrally? I am curious how you understand this and practice this aim of Life. 😊🙏🏻🪷❤️‍🔥
