AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have a query about one of the Mother’s quotes. In The Mother’s quote: Don’t speak, let your work speak…’ Is ‘work’ correct or ‘works’? 🤔🦋🪻

Technically, it should be work not works as it is being used as a noun. However, the quote is slightly different. It is as follows.

The full quote does not mention works but ‘acts’. It is the new year message of 1954, as given below.

“My Lord, here is Thy advice to all, for this year: ‘Never boast about anything, let your acts speak for you.'” Has any reference been given by the person who sent the quote, mentioning works? Then we can directly cross-check.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

This is a resurgence of excessive rajas which will sooner or later stabilise and, given the …
