Some people have a knack or temperament for it. They attract the money power, partly because they have an inborn temperament for it, partly because they take care of the money well and thereby attract the money forces. Strangely, many of these people do not want money for some special personal comfort or pleasure as much as because they love the play of money. They play with the money power as one plays a game but are themselves not so much attached to it or want the objects it can provide them.
This temperament or this capacity to attract the money force is inborn in some. Of course we are not speaking of ill-begotten money which usually leads to a misuse and decline of the person and the family, but the right way of getting money. One may almost say as a rule that the less you are attached to something, including money, the more it chases you. If you use it well, then it returns and multiplies. If you misuse, get possessed by it, then it destroys the one who holds it. Respect the money given to you and ways and means will be created for its increase.
